Information for May 7th & 8th

Rather a busy weekend at Liverpool Cathedral and so some changes, additions, and removals.

May 7th at 12 Noon is the memorial service for Lady Grace Sheppard “Called to be friends”. Doors open at 11:00 and all are asked to be seated by 11:45.  There is no reserved seating. Speakers include Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Rt hon Frank Field MP.

There will be a service of Evening Prayer at 3pm instead of Choral Evensong.

This month’s Vigil Eucharist will now take place on May 14th at 5:30, and not May 7th as previously advised.

Sunday’s services for the Third Sunday in Easter, are as advertised. The setting for Holy Communion is Walton Missa Brevis and the Preacher is The Dean.  The preacher at Choral Evensong is Rev Canon Phil Potter and the Canticles will be sung to the setting of Noble in A minor
