Réverend Désiré Mukanirwa Kadorho

This Sunday October 17th (4.30pm, Lady Chapel)

“Dean Justin Welby will be hosting an interview session with Réverend Désiré Mukanirwa Kadorho. Réverend Désiré is the Anglican Priest of Goma in the North Kivu Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), on the Rwandan border.  North Kivu has been at the epicentre of the troubles in the area and Réverend Désiré heads development programmes in the Diocese. He runs two churches, which are growing in numbers, and is developing ideas on church planting and an holistic approach to all those affected by the troubles. All are welcome to hear his story.”

As it says on the Cathedral website……. Having heard Revd Désiré speaking about how he and his flock cope with all that is sent to try them, I defy anyone not to be moved by his testimony, if not filled with a burning desire to help in some way.  If you can spare the time, this event will be well worth attending.
