Sorry that this information is a bit late…yes I know it is Ash Wednesday today….but there is still time.
There is a service of Holy Communion with imposition of ashes at 6 pm today at the Cathedral. The preacher will be Baroness Perry of Southwark. There will be no choir…..don’t ask why…apparently it’s half term. I thought that’s what Cathedrals had voluntary choirs for? And if it is half term, how come the Met are live on Radio 3 as I type?
At the end of the service we move seamlessly into…..

This years "Food for the journey" school of prayer will take place on Friday 27th (6 -9) and Saturday 28th (10 – 3:30).
Following the very successful and thought provoking school of prayer last year, this year’s will be led by Rev Judy Hirst, and is entitled "Struggling to be holy". It will look at being yourself with God, being forgiven by God, and being present to God.
